"The quality of construction was excellent and to complete the work a month ahead of schedule is certainly a rare occurrence, especially considering the unexpected challenges we faced with the project. We would certainly welcome an opportunity to work with Lantz Construction again on future projects."
-Perry Eisenach, P.E., Public Services Director, City of Winchester

Luray Avenue Middle School

Warren County Middle SchoolAfter more than a year of new construction and renovation work, the doors of the old historic Warren County High School were recently opened once again to students and teachers. This time, the school will serve as the County's new middle school. The school which was originally conceived and funded during the Great Depression opened in 1940 as the County's only high school. The school became a focal point in the struggle for public school integration in the late 1950's. After the construction of two new high schools in 2007, the old high school sat vacant until LCW began construction work in June of 2009. The transformation of the old high school into the new middle school included the complete renovation of the 100,000 square foot existing building plus new additions of nearly 70,000 square feet. LCW is proud to have partnered with Warren County on this historic state of the art project.
